Are you a lover of Italian cheeses and cold cuts? You have to choose this tour! We’ll take you to Lessinia, a breathtaking mountain area north of Verona, to visit a cheese and salame/prosciutto producer. They’ll show you all the different kind of aging of cheeses and will introduce you Monte Veronese DOP, our local cheese. You’ll see how cold cuts are processed and you’ll end the visit by tasting a delicious selection of salumi, genuine cheeses accompanied by homemade jams and jellies and a glass of our Valpolicella wine. If you’ll be interested it would be possible to buy some products in the shop that is really popular among the locals.
Before going back to Verona, we will stop by a winery for a tasting of our Valpolicella wines, Amarone included. This tour allows you to spend a morning out from the city, tasting traditional Veronese food and wines, and knowing more about our territory.
Minimum for 2 people – max 8
Area visited: Valpolicella Classica
Duration: 4,5 h approximately
Departure: at 9.00 a.m. from Via Roma, 33 Verona (in front of Castelvecchio)

We want you to spend a lovely day with no distress so, please, in booking our tours, inform us if you have limited mobility (in some old cellars there are stairs); or if you have any intolerance or allergy about food/wine (some tours are including appetizers in the cellar or lunch in local restaurant).
We ask you to inform us if you have any appointment after the tour (if you booked a train ticket, an opera show in Arena or a reservation for a restaurant), so we can do our best to respect the schedule.
